Awards Criteria for the Best ICT Enabled School
The best ICT enabled School Award recognises innovative learning and teaching practice and practitioner in schools. The award is meant to acknowledge and support excellence in technology enabled learning and teaching. The award for the best ICT enabled school is open for schools that uses innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance teaching and learning approach. The award provides means for sharing innovative classroom strategies and the techniques of talented and innovative teachers and schools across the wider education community.
Eligibility for schools to nominate for the award:
An innovative ICT-enabled learning programme must be fully operational in the school represented by the teacher represents in the nomination.
The following criteria will be taken into account in the selection of school:
- The extent to which the use of ICTs have resulted in practical outcomes that have improved teaching, learning, curriculum design, and/or assessment in schools.
- Evidence that the ICT-enabled learning/teaching process could be successfully integrated into the total learning process for the relevant course of study.
- The extent to which the exercise/practice has led to the improved motivation and performance of the teachers and learners.
