Awards Criteria for the Best ICT Enabled University
The best ICT-enabled University Award recognises innovative learning and teaching practice and practitioners in schools. The award acknowledges and supports excellence in technology enabled learning and teaching. The award for the best ICT-enabled university is open for universities that use innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance their teaching and learning approach. The award facilitates means for sharing innovative classroom strategies and techniques of talented and innovative teachers and universities across the wider education community.
Eligibility for universities to nominate for the award
The innovative ICT-enabled learning programme must be fully operational in the school represented by the teacher in the nomination
The following criteria will be taken into account in the selection of universities
- The extent to which the use of ICTs have resulted in practical outcomes that have improved teaching, learning, curriculum design, and/or assessments in schools.
- Evidence that the ICT-enabled learning/teaching process could be successfully integrated into the total learning process for the relevant course of study.
- The extent to which the exercise/practice has led to the improved motivation and performance of the teachers and learners.
