governments including zonal, regional and local governments that use or support the use of ICT tools in regional municipalities, such as computerisation of municipalities for the purposes of increasing access, transparency, efficiency of administrative functions such as tracking and monitoring, billing of utility bills and e-Services to increase efficiency of the municipality as well as the end users. Projects nominated for best government initiative should contain inherent benchmarks of sustainability.
