The award is to open for all Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs) and community based groups who use Information, Communications and Technologies (ICTs) in providing e-Governance services for the purposes of increasing access, transparency, efficiency of administrative functions, such as tracking and monitoring, billing of utility bills, e-Services and creating transparency between public and government.
The evaluation criteria is based on quality of vision of the projects, services, past work and implementations of technologies for the empowerment of livelihoods. Besides, the soundness of technology being used, scalability and sustainability and finally impact made on the citizen’s life are criteria for evaluation.
