Selection Procedures And Criteria
Individuals and institutions who wish to nominate themselves for the eINDIA 2008 Awards need to furnish details about the projects they are involved with. The nominated projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
Economic cost and sustainability, stakeholder support
Gender parity, and other inclusiveness indicators
Impact on livelihoods and society in general
Demonstrable effects on the project target groups
Community initiatives and ownership
The measure of replication
Extent of collaboration
The selection procedure: The selection procedure for award nomination is sequential.
- The individual/institutions/project will be first nominated through an online form.
- The individual/institutions/project will be verified and reviewers by a team of in-house reviewers. Any additional information, if required, will be asked for.
- The individual/institutions/project will be evaluated according to the criteria mentioned above.
- The individual/institutions/project will undergo an online endorsement process, where visitors and invited specialists will be asked to vote on the project.
- Eventually, the Jury of the award will select winning individual/institutions/project after an internal consultation.
- Unaccepted! nominations will be returned after an initial review
The eINDIA2008 Awards would be decided by certain procedures and rules governing the evaluation of the entries. It is pertinent to be informed that the entire process of evaluation and reporting would go according to certain norms and schedules. The call for nominations for the eINDIA2008 Awards will be open till July 15, 2008. The selected winners will be invited to the Award giving ceremony of eINDIA2008 conference.
