SYMPOSIUM ON HOMELAND SECURITY
The challenges for homeland security in India and across the globe, is ever rising. The level of technological sophistication of the terrorists and criminals- cyber criminals
and otherwise- is increasing. Prevention, response and investigation all require a number of technologies, cutting across disciplines. The strategic application of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as also the collaboration among the different stakeholders - government agencies, private organisations, businesses, law-enforcement and security agencies can help governments achieve this goal.
The Symposium on Homeland Security will provide a forum for the government, experts and practitioners in security field, researchers and solutions providers from India and across the globe, to meet and discuss the current and future security needs and issues and explore best practices in the security sector.
