Agatha K. Sangma , born July 24, 1980 is the Minister of state for rural development, Government of India. She represents the Tura constituency of Meghalaya state. Ms Sangma is the youngest Minister of State in the current Cabinet.
Agatha Sangma was first elected in the 14th Lok Sabha in a bye-election in May 2008, after her father P.A. Sangma resigned from the seat to join state politics. Agatha Sangma is also a lawyer, an environmentalist and an amateur photographer.
