Selection Criteria
Individuals and institutions who wish to nominate themselves or others for the eINDIA 2010 Awards need to furnish details about the projects they are involved with. The nominated projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Economic cost and sustainability, stakeholder support
- Gender parity, and other inclusiveness indicators
- Impact on livelihoods and society in general
- Demonstrable effects on the project target groups
- Community initiatives and ownership
- The measure of replication
- Extent of collaboration
eINDIA 2010 Awards would be decided by certain procedures and rules governing the evaluation of the entries. It is pertinent to be informed that the entire process of evaluation and reporting will be conducted according to certain norms and schedules. The call for nominations for the eINDIA 2010 Awards will be open till 10th June, 2010.
The Award selection process will go through a dual process of Jury as well as public voting system. The online voting starts from 20th June, 2010 and closes on 20th July, 2010. The selected winners will be felicitated at the Award giving ceremony of eINDIA 2010 conference.
Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure for award nomination is sequential.
- The individual/institutions/project will be first nominated through an online form downloadable from www.eINDIA.net.in/awards
- The individual/institutions/project will be verified and reviewed by a team of in-house reviewers. Any additional information, if required, will be asked for.
- The individual/institutions/project will be evaluated according to the criteria mentioned above.
- Evaluated nominations will be opened for online voting.
Important Information
- All nominations must be submitted by 10th June, 2010 to be considered for the Award.
- The Finalist will be announced and felicitated at the eINDIA2010 Conference venue at Hyderabad International Convention Centre between 4th - 6th August 2010
- All finalists will be notified directly.
- It is expected that some of the innovative practices/nominations will be documented and placed in the monthly print magazines: eGov, Digital Learning, Telecentre, eHealth.
- eINDIA 2010 organisers reserves the right to use all or part of any material projects/programmes, photographs, submissions or any details generated for the purpose of this Award for any publicity campaign related to education technology.
- eINDIA 2010 organisers reserves the right not to make an award in case the nominations received are not found fit enough in terms of quality and quantity.
Notice:
- In case of a tie, the organisers reserve the right to decide the winner.
- Any dispute will be settled under the jurisdiction of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
