eINDIA 2010 Awards are open for all national and international government organisations, private enterprises, civil society organisations, bi-lateral, multi-lateral developmental organisations, in India and abroad, who have transformed social development opportunities into a sustainable social enterprise through innovative use of ICTs.

Who can participate/nominate
- An individual/institutions/project can be nominated for the eINDIA 2010 Awards by any of the methods stated below:
- Direct application – An individual/institution/project/corporate can nominate themselves to the award process by filling up the Implementor form.
- Peer nomination – An individual/institution/corporate can nominate any other individual/institution/project for the awards. However, the peer nominator should disclose his/ her name and details in the form.
- All submissions must be made online in English, using the appropriate nomination form.
- A project can be nominated in the name of the said project or concerned individual pivoting the project or the respective institutions endorsing the project.
- All competing projects must either be completed or be at an eventual stage of development carrying contemporary relevance. The jury will only evaluate and compare projects that are contextual and bear measurable outcome and impact.
- All mandatory indicated fields of the entry form must be filled out or else the jury will not evaluate the project.
- Participants must illustrate how their use of ICTs creates new avenues for the cause of human and social development; has contributed to improved motivation and performance of the client base and administrators; extent to which the use of ICTs have resulted in practical outcomes.
- The project must be verifiable, i.e. able to present credible references from independent third parties.

These "baseline" standards are meant only to provide you with an idea of the minimum criteria. Some more sub-criteria may also be applied during the selection process***
