Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies, in association with UN Solution Exchange, Global e-Schools and Communities Initiative (GeSCI) and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), is pleased to announce the launch of the e-Rajasthan Summit. We present to you a series of Conferences in diverse regions of India with the objective of focusing and deliberating on regional concerns and challenges in integration of technology and fostering digital inclusion in different fields. The conference will become a place for those with an interest in digital inclusion to meet, mingle and deliberate over the latest in policy developments, technological advances and ground level practices. eRajasthan 2009, the first event of which is proposed to focus exclusively on Rajasthan, shall aim at active knowledge sharing, showcasing of existing e-Education, eHealth, eAgriculture, Telecentre, eGovernance and Municipal IT initiatives in the state, deliberate on the way forward, and seek to provide a platform to exchange ideas and promote capacity building. Our mission is to take technology to the grassroots, to address regional concerns, and to highlight and deliberate on issues of digital inclusion that concern the community.
